LET ME TELL YOU A STORY
Circle That is a Utrecht-based organisation founded by 6 practical idealists with hearts beating for the circular economy.
Since day one, our team has been experimenting with a variety of events and experiences at our location at the Domplein. Circle That is aiming to help Utrechters understand the necessity and benefits of circular strategies, create an appetite, stimulate the necessary behavioral change, and establish public acceptance for the circular transition.

We are on a journey heading straight towards the Circular Economy. A territory that is still widely uncharted. On voyages like this, the traveler within us gets ignited. Forcing us to come equipped with a curious mindset while uncovering alternatives to a life within the limits of our planet.
WE ARE COLLABORATORS
Breaking out of the take-make-waste model requires collaboration. It takes everyone to participate and work together to solve such complex issues affecting our planet.We strongly believe we are only as good as the people around us.
WE ARE INITIATORS
We feel driven to turn ideas into action without being bothered by the parameters that might limit us. To say it with the words of Amy Poehler: “The talking about the thing isn’t the thing. The DOING of the thing is the thing.”
WE ARE FIERCELY OPTIMISTIC
We value the role optimism plays in spreading agency. We believe a pinch of optimism and imagination is required to build the circular world we so urgently needed. For us, optimism is not only embracing a positive attitude but also actively working towards a better and brighter future. Afterall change can’t come out of fear alone.
