Our beloved Dom is in construction and unfortunately will remain so till 2025. This is a pity not only for the view but also for all the generated waste.
THE BIG
IDEA:
Came by ‘Van Dom tot Steengoed’ an initiative that was born due to the current restoration of the Dom, and is concerned with reusing the materials that are collected on the construction site. They’re on a mission to find new and creative purposes for the existing materials, either through their partners or through people just like you via an idea contest. If you have an idea in how we can bring a piece of Dom, from block to rubble, back to life. Whether you want to make a key ring with a piece of stone or a bench from an ornament. Or sculpt a chess game or get a tattoo with Domruin? Either-way, the sky is the limit, check out their idea contest.
